Cross-check against Squarely's actual numbers: lifetime avg royalty/unit = $2.31 ([[kdp/2026-04-27-summary]]). Solving for list price at a short-book (≤110pg, standard trim, $2.30 printing cost) assumption: $2.31 = 0.6×List − 2.30 → List ≈ $7.68, which lands almost exactly on a plausible real KDP price point ($7.99).
