Substack
What’s notable: Designed around the writer’s voice, not the platform’s brand. Default reading view is a single narrow prose column in a transitional serif (Spectral / similar) at ~17–19px, generous leading, warm-neutral background. Brand orange used very sparingly. The chrome (nav, metadata) gets out of the way; the writing dominates.
Why this matters as a reference: a writer-first product where the platform deliberately recedes — the design model for any newsletter or essay platform.
