Read.cv
Note (2026-04-23): read.cv now serves "Deployment Paused." The platform was acquired by Perplexity in April 2024 and effectively wound down. The screenshot of the live site is not capturable; this entry preserves the design memory.
What's notable: A resume / portfolio platform that used monospace as its primary typeface — even for body text, an intentional brutalist move that signals "designer-aware" to other designers. Pure black/white palette, minimal chrome, layouts that read like text files with intentional whitespace. The mono-as-body choice was the entire identity — a typographic statement.
Why this matters as a reference: a canonical example of typography choice being the brand. The mono signaled to the right audience and filtered out everyone else. Wayback Machine has snapshots of the active site if a visual reference is needed.
