Cedric’s tacit-knowledge series is the spine of his entire body of work — the argument that expertise in any wicked domain (business, agents, engineering) is pattern-matching that can only be acquired through reps with feedback. The core argument
Cedric’s epistemological position: in business and skilled domains, the bar for whether a claim is ‘true’ is whether acting on it produces the predicted result. Practice IS the truth-test. This is why armchair-theorist business writing should be discounted relative to practitioner accounts, even when the armchair version is more elegant.
