“The Business Expertise Series” — @CedricChin
Why this is in the vault
The triad index — Cedric’s hub for Operations + Markets + Capital. This is the structural blueprint for the entire Notion task (343f7d49) on backfilling the triad in the vault.
The core argument
The triad index. Cedric’s structural claim: business expertise = Operations + Markets + Capital, and most operators are competent at exactly one. Operators who scale do so by deliberately developing the other two legs. The vault’s existing BDD/Deming material covers Operations heavily; this batch fills in Markets and Capital.
Mapping against Ray Data Co
Spine document. RDCO’s competence map: strong on Ops (BDD, process control, data pipelines), thin on Markets (positioning, ICP discovery), thin on Capital (cash-flow modeling, time-preference for our own bets). Every piece in the Markets and Capital legs of this batch is targeted at closing a specific gap. This is the org chart for the gap-closure work.
