Cert 1 — Snowflake GenAI Specialty (IMMEDIATE)
- Start date for studying: flexible (founder picks; downloaded study guide 2026-05-18)
- Deadline to pass: ~late November 2026 (this is the 6-month escalator leg; the 3-month leg was banked by the Anthropic CCA-F pass on 2026-08-17 — see memory project_phdata_cert_escalator_path; corrected 2026-09-05, the old "2026-08-24" line was a stale first-draft assumption)
- Buffer time before deadline: if studying starts 2026-05-26 and takes 6-8 weeks, exam should be schedulable mid-July with ~4 weeks of buffer for a retake if needed.

- Start date for studying: post-phData partner-portal access (week 2-3 of job)
- Deadline to pass: was 2026-11-22 (180 days after 2026-05-26 job start) — PASSED 2026-08-17 with 850/1000; this banked the 3-month escalator leg. Snowflake GenAI (Cert 1) is now the 6-month leg, ~late Nov 2026. (Corrected 2026-09-05; the section below is historical.)
