First video review processed via the new HQ /decisions/ video-review canary. Founder consumed /decisions/2026-05-09-mac-the-confession-video-review.html, scrubbed through 15 frame thumbnails, multi-selected the relevant frames per annotation, wrote per-set notes, locked in. Returned via iMessage at 2026-05-09 10:56 ET.

Website could be a bit larger font or have a colored highlight background for a bit more character. I like that the “or keep squinting” is small, forcing the user to squint if they want to catch the reference.

Translation for v1 build:

End-card: increase the URL font size (target: ~1.3x current) and / or add a colored highlight rectangle behind the URL text for character. Hand-drawn marker swipe in MAC accent color (red? yellow?) is the obvious move.
Keep “or keep squinting” small. The smallness IS the joke (forces literal squinting → ties to the message about squinting at data). Do NOT make it more legible.

The script is not right here. 5 years… too long for ai output. Also this is targeting data pipeline reviews. I spent 5 years squinting at data to know if it made any sense… I’m done. That’s a better direction.

Translation for v1 build:

Replace the 3-5s VO line with: “I spent 5 years squinting at data to know if it made any sense… I’m done.”
Voice: Adam (per v0). Same delivery posture (somber-to-bold arc).
Tighten the 3-5s window to fit the new line; may need timing adjustment elsewhere to maintain 15s total.
Positioning correction: this is for data-pipeline reviews specifically. Not generic AI work. The “5 years” is now anchored to “squinting at data” which makes the duration earned and credible.

Re-render the 3-5s VO via ElevenLabs Adam voice with the new script
Update the end-card composition with larger URL font + colored highlight
