Longevity investment universe — Diamandis May 2026 reference roster
Why this exists
Curated list of named longevity-vertical companies pulled from Diamandis's May 2026 Metatrend Report on Longevity. NOT a thesis or position list. The roster is what's useful when the founder is asked "who's in the longevity space" and needs a fast pre-vetted starting set. The thesis work — which of these are actually investable, on what timeline, with what catalysts — is downstream of this file, not in it.
Source caveat (load-bearing)
Diamandis self-discloses financial interest in 13 of the named companies. The report is the top-of-funnel asset for Abundance360 ($40k/yr) and the Longevity Trip CEO immersion (apply-only). Treat the company-by-company narrative descriptions in the report as paid-discovery surface, not neutral analysis. The names themselves are real and worth knowing. The investability claims are not.
Always cite as "Diamandis/Abundance360 (vested interest in 13 named companies)" rather than as a neutral source when referenced downstream.

Already-public surface for index/passive exposure
- ARK — Big Ideas 2026 names longevity TAM at "$1.2 quadrillion" using QALYs at $100K each. ARKG (Genomic Revolution ETF) and ARKW have rotating longevity-adjacent exposure but are not pure-play.
- Eli Lilly (LLY) — $2.75B Insilico deal cited; multiple longevity-adjacent partnerships
- AbbVie (ABBV) — $2.1B Capstan deal cited
- Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMY) — $1.5B Orbital deal cited
- Alphabet (GOOG/GOOGL) — Calico + Isomorphic Labs
What's NOT in this roster (deliberate omissions from the Diamandis report)
- Public biotech companies that aren't in Diamandis's network or weren't profiled. The report has selection bias — what HE invests in or what comes through Abundance360. Many longevity-adjacent public biotechs aren't here. Future research should sweep public-comp lists from a non-Diamandis source.
- Asia-Pacific specifics beyond MEDIPOST/CHA/Chi — Japan and China have growing longevity-vertical activity not covered.
- Open-source / DePIN / crypto longevity DAOs (VitaDAO, etc.) — not in scope of report.
- Lifestyle/supplement plays (rapamycin Rx market, Tally Health, Tru Niagen, etc.) — partially mentioned but not as investable companies.
How to use this file
When investing-track work asks "what's in the longevity universe":
- Start here for the named companies.
- For each candidate of interest, build a separate file at
01-projects/investing/candidates/<company-slug>.mdwith thesis, valuation, stage of access (public ticker / private with broker / private inaccessible), catalyst calendar, and exit conditions. - NEVER buy or research solely off this roster — Diamandis's selection is biased.
- Cross-reference against [[01-projects/investing/theses/2026-05-12-innermost-loop-ai-infrastructure]] for the parent Diamandis investing-thesis pattern (Frontier labs / Chips / DC infra / Power layered framework). Longevity is a separate Diamandis vertical with the same source-discounting needed.
Specific timelines and market sizes (Diamandis-cited, take with discount)
- 1 year of life-expectancy gain = $38T globally (Nature Aging study, London Business School / Harvard / Oxford)
- 10 years = $367T
- ARK: $1.2 quadrillion longevity TAM at $100K/QALY; current biotech captures ~0.1%
- AI cuts drug development cost ~4x ($2.4B → ~$0.7B) and time-to-market ~40% by 2030
- Organ-on-chip ~$1B by 2030 at 35% CAGR; organoids $1.4B → $3.3B (2026-2031) at 18.3% CAGR
- Cardiovascular costs to triple to $1.8T by 2050; Alzheimer's near $1T by 2050
- LEV (Longevity Escape Velocity) by ~2033 per Kurzweil — "by the end of 2030 for those in good shape"
- Dario Amodei: doubling of human lifespan possibly in "5 to 10 years" if AI compounds
These are headline numbers, useful for sizing arguments but should not anchor specific investment-decision math without independent corroboration.
