Data Marketplace
Overview
Agentic data-as-a-service business. Use AI agents to bring transparency and curation to previously opaque fields at a lower cost structure than incumbents (Dun & Bradstreet, Owler).
Thesis
Agents can continuously collect, clean, and curate data products that previously required large teams. This inverts the cost structure of competitive intelligence and specialty data.
Potential Entry Points
- Clinical research: help founder’s wife find new studies or attract qualified patients. Personal use case that could scale to others in the field.
- County permits: public data that’s valuable when curated and made searchable
- Competitive intelligence: Owler/D&B competitor built on agentic infrastructure
- Snowflake Data Marketplace: existing market with established buyers
What’s Needed
- Sharpen the thesis — pick one entry point
- Validate demand and willingness to pay
- Prototype a single data product
