Founder's GES-C02 exam experience (passed 2026-09-28)

First-hand read from a pass on 2026-09-28. Score 854, per his 15:49 ET message (his SnowPro Core score was 822). This is exam shape and topics only, with no questions or answers recorded. Reproducing live questions would breach the Snowflake exam agreement (see supporting-materials.md).

Prep changes for the next person

  1. Practice multi-select "choose the best 2-3" scenarios: which combination of services or settings solves a stated requirement.
  2. Keep SPCS at more than overview depth: image registry and repository, pushing custom images, service specs, compute pools. See [[study-snowpark-container-services]].
  3. Learn parameters by purpose (what each knob is for) rather than by exact signature.
  4. Credential side effect: passing C02 renewed his SnowPro Core to the same expiry, 2028-09-28, per his 15:44 ET message. Mechanism per Snowflake's continuing-education policy (checked 2026-09-16, see cert-progress.md): the higher cert renews the one below it when both sit on one CertMetrics profile.
  5. Know the RAG triad cold, and map each metric to a symptom. He asked about metrics like these after the exam (15:46 ET): context relevance (did retrieval pull the right chunks), groundedness (are the answer's claims supported by the retrieved context), answer relevance (does the answer address the question). Correctness needs ground truth; "accuracy" is the generic distractor. Our notes gave this one line (study-governance.md:90).
